Belated May Greetings from Mary’s Healing Hands
Hello friends,
Isn’t this weather crazy? The rest of the week looks warmer and I hope you are taking every opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and the greening everywhere; the colors are so beautiful!
Loads of stuff going on here on Crow HIll and starting June 5th, I’ll be at the gorgeous Waterford Harbor Farmers Market with relaxing chair massage. The market is held Sundays from 9 till 1pm. My soirees will continue at the market with exciting events like tarot readings, art classes and psychic intuitive readings, stay tuned for updates 🙂
Chair yoga classes have begun here with my daughter, Christine Harney, a certified yoga instructor. Hour long classes will be held on the following dates here at my home: Tuesday 5/24, Tuesday 6/7, Thursday 6/16, Tuesday, 6/21, Thursday 6/23, and Tuesday 6/28. All classes will begin promptly at 6pm, please wear loose fitting clothes, the fee is $8 and beginners are most welcome! All supplies will be provided, just bring yourself. Space is limited so please let me know if you’re attending.
Chair yoga is a great form of yoga for anyone, especially beginners, and is particularly helpful for upper body stiffness/tension. Daytime classes will be coming soon, if you have a specific day and/or time preference, please let me know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
On Saturday, 6/18 from 2 to 4pm, we’ll be having a watercolor painting class in my garden taught by Diane Steele of Yankee Florals of Waterford, weather permitting. She’ll help you set up in a comfy spot to capture a subject of interest, provide all the supplies and you’ll go home with your own watercolor painting for $20. In case of inclement weather, the class would be postponed until July 9th. Again, as class size is limited, please let me know at your earliest convenience if you’d like to participate. Please feel free to bring your favorite chair if you’d like.
Take advantage of time outside whenever you can, listen to the birds chatter and breathe deeply…life is good!
Peace and love,
Mary
