Happy New Year’s Friends,
My husband’s been on vacation over the holidays so I’ll blame him for the delay in getting this newsletter out on time. He’s such a sweet distraction 🙂
This time of the year is a perfect time to take a moment to think about some small changes you can make into your daily routine that will make you a happier, healthier you. Maybe getting a bit more produce into your meals, a little more stretching, 5 minute meditations, write in a journal, less time on the couch, less time on the computer, try a coloring book- so relaxing, or call a friend for a nice chat. Make some new little habits, just baby steps, and see how you feel!
Try this month’s special to create a little change- a 30 minute massage for $25! In a half hour, I can give you a thorough overall tuneup or work an area that is particularly bothersome, like a painful neck/ shoulders issue or an achey lower back or tired legs and feet. Christine’s chair yoga classes this month are on Thursdays here at 11am and 6pm starting on January 12th. Please note that this Thursday, the 5th, there will only be the 6pm class. Please call to reserve your space as space is limited at 237-5587. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and arrive about 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Beginners are always welcome and classes are $8 each. We are exploring the option of a Saturday morning class at 10 or 11 am, please let us know if that would be of interest to you.
Chair yoga at Halfmoon Seniors will be this Thursday, the 5th, at 9:15am. As of the 12th, classes will be moved to Thursdays at 1pm until further notice. As always, beginners are certainly welcome at all classes.
