Lovely June greetings from Mary’s Healing Hands
Dear friends,
Since I took today off from the farmers market due to rain, I thought I’d catch up on all the things I’m behind on, especially this newsletter! Hope you are all taking good care of yourselves as there is just so much going on now that the weather is lovely, well, except for today 🙂
The Waterford Harbor Farmers Market season has begun; Sundays from 9 till 1pm. This month’s special is 5 minutes of chair massage on our gorgeous waterfront at the market at no charge. The only catch is that you need to mention this newsletter to me, that’s it! Relaxing chair massage in the shade on the waterfront- it’s lovely and five minutes free.
Just a reminder, we have several spots still open for a garden watercolor painting class on Saturday, 6/18 from 2 to 4pm, taught by Diane Steele of Yankee Florals, weather permitting. It will here in my garden, all supplies will be provided & you’ll go home with your own watercolor painting for $20, just bring yourself. In case of inclement weather, the class would be postponed until July 9th. Let me know if you’d like to join us!
Sadly, due to increasing expenses, my hourly rate has had to increase from $65 to $70 effective June 1st. Please note that my Massage A Month Club rates have not increased, the hourly rate is still only $50 and I so appreciate the members’ support. You may always obtain more information about my rates and club info at www.maryshealinghands.com, look for the “rates and modalities” tab or call me at (518) 237-5587.
Our evening chair yoga classes are almost all full and we’re looking at adding a daytime class in July. Chair yoga is great for beginners, an amazing workout for the office or for those unable to get on/off the floor with ease. Just bring yourself, wear loose, comfortable clothes and we’ll provide the rest for $8 a session. Please let me know asap if you’d like to sign up for any of the June classes ( 6/7, 6/16, 6/22, 6/23 & 6/28) if you’re interested.
Tis the season to drinks lots of water, take frequent breaks and don’t forget the sunscreen, mosquito & tick repellents too! Enjoy the outdoors and be sensible 🙂
Peace and love,
Mary
