Sweet Summertime Greetings from Mary’s Healing Hands
Dear Friends,
As we swing into summer, I hope you’re enjoying yourselves reconnecting with
family and friends while enjoying some time outdoors. It’s so nice to throw open the windows and let the fresh air in too (except when it’s raining) !
This month’s special is about me being grateful for all of you and your many kindnesses. Refer a friend to me as a new client and get a half hour free off your next massage; your friend will get an introductory special for an hour’s
massage at $50. Thank you for referring your friends, I am grateful to have met so many wonderful people this way 🙂
My dear friend Lee from Ladybug Soaps has a new line of body milks to “feed” your skin. Each one is made with healthy ingredients like aloe vera juice, sea kelp, yogurt and apple cider vinegar. The first is Toning Milk for normal skin with ingredients such as rosewater, witch hazel and sea kelp. Then, there’s Healing Milk for growing/combination skin with tea tree oil, aloe vera gel/juice, yogurt extract and more. Finally, Fortify Milk for dry/aging skin with green tea infusion, apple cider vinegar and elderberry extract to name a few. Please feel free to try them and let me know what you think.
This Saturday, July 4th, we’ve got our annual Steamboat Meet at the Waterford Visitor’s Center. Steamboats, vendors, food and fabulous fireworks over the water at our harbor; great fun for all and the weather looks good. On Sunday, the 5th, the steamboats will be leaving as we have our weekly farmers market from 9am till 1 pm and I’ll be there with chair massage, some of Lee’s products
and an assortment of vintage items for your shopping pleasure. Please stop by to
our Karma Korner and visit my friend Diane, our florist at the market. She’s got lovely flowers, fresh herbs and eye catching creations to delight as well. We’d love to see you!
Please support our local farmers markets and indulge in the wide variety of fresh produce they offer. So much fresher than the supermarket and some interesting items you’ve probably never tried. Take advantage of the abundance of tastes and freeze or can some for the winter ahead. You’ll enjoy these flavors in the dead of winter and your body will thank you for it too.
Stay well my friends,
Mary
