On Saturday, August 15th, I’ll be hosting a VAHT (Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy) event in my home from 12:30 till 4pm. VAHT is a fairly new body therapy that will treat you to the ethereal sound of live harp music while experiencing the
vibrational aspect of the instrument applied directly to the body. The sounds of the harp resonate with, relax and entrain the body and mind and also touch the heart! You will remain fully clothed and rest on special vibrotactile pads through which the vibrations are delivered.
My friend, Dawn Danis, is a certified VAHT practitioner trained by Sarajane Williams, the pioneer who developed the technique. Who benefits from VAHT? Anyone wanting deep relaxation! Also, people that suffer from: chronic pain, fibromyalgia, headaches, insomnia, anxiety and depression have reported symptom reduction after a 20 minute session of VAHT. I’ve tried it, thoroughly enjoyed it and can liken it to being enveloped by a waterfall of heavenly harp music, feeling the vibrations specifically focused to my sore knees. It was purely delightful!
Dawn will be scheduling a 20 minute session every half hour at 12:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:00 for $30. Please email me or call me (237-5587) at your earliest opportunity to secure a time to experience it for yourself. It’s definitely a wonderful experience 🙂
