Being grateful for life’s little blessings is an exercise that’s good for you without breaking a sweat! We take so much for granted; the “you don’t miss it till it’s gone syndrome”.
It only takes a minute to reflect on the wonder of a relatively healthy body, a warm home, a comfy chair or a good book. Isn’t it marvelous to savor a sweet orange, to sit in a sunlit garden or look out upon a sparkling body of water?
We so fortunate to live in a country that supports our local libraries and museums that provide literature and art enjoyment for free! The lack of functioning indoor toilets (and the awful consequences) is a main theme on the show, Last Man on Earth. When is the last time you were grateful for your potty?
