Every spring, I look around and see so much stuff! So, I look around with a purposeful eye to set free things I really don’t need. As it can be a tad overwhelming, I take on little areas at a time as to not cause too much disruption in my home or in my mind. A closet, a drawer or a corner of a room, it’s so very satisfying to clear things out and freshen things up for Spring!
Just as satisfying as getting rid of “stuff” in your home is getting rid of “stuff” you’ve been holding on to in your heart and spirit. Maybe there are old hurts or grievances that have been hanging around, serving you no good purpose at all. We’ve all experienced instances with co-workers, friends and family have hurt us or made us angry. It’s normal to feel it for awhile but afterwards it’s better move on and leave the pain behind. Set it free, let it go and focus on the good things right now, make room for better things, better “stuff”.
Think about it while your cleaning out a closet or drawer, it really does feel better to let go of “stuff”
