Tuesdays with Mary, 3/25/14, Living in the past
There is something to be said about taking a little time to “live in the past”. This theme has been popping up for me lately and I’ve been taking a look back. What would your child self think of your adult self? Take a moment to read this article from the NY Times and ponder:

Had to share these lyrics from Jethro Tull’s song too, life is funny sometimes…have a marvelous week everyone
“Living In The Past”
Happy and I’m smiling,
walk a mile to drink your water.
You know I’d love to love you,
and above you there’s no other.
We’ll go walking out
while others shout of war’s disaster.
Oh, we won’t give in,
let’s go living in the past.
Once I used to join in
every boy and girl was my friend.
Now there’s revolution, but they don’t know
what they’re fighting.
Let us close out eyes;
outside their lives go on much faster.
Oh, we won’t give in,
we’ll keep living in the past.
