Hope you’re all keeping cool and practicing good self care. Feeling good, pain free (or at least minimized) takes work…it does not come naturally. As we age and recover from injuries/surgical repairs, we must make some sort of effort every day to keep ourselves well, or least as well as we can be, health is wealth!
You know what I’m referring to, eating good for you food, drinking lots of water, a good night’s sleep (at least trying) and regular exercise. Beyond that, and I admit, that’s a lot, there are other avenues to explore: yoga/stretching, meditation, avoiding negative people whenever possible (they are so terribly draining of your good energy), practicing random acts of kindness and declining to spread negative thoughts/ideas yourself.
Everyday, I encounter people that are suffering in one way or another and it pains my heart because oftentimes it can be avoided or reduced as they bring much of it on themselves. Please know that I am not exempt from this either, I’ve got a lifetime of bad habits to deal with, and deal with them I am, chipping away bit by bit and feeling better for it. So I’m asking that you consider what I’ve shared with you to make yourself feel better, to enjoy this life’s journey more for your own sake.
Of course massage is an excellent method of positive self care and I make sure to get regular massage myself. Just Google “massage benefits” and see for yourself. My summer special continues with a half hour massage for $25 and it’s a great way to treat yourself for all your hard work. If you refer your friends, make sure they let me know as you’ll receive half off your next massage. So, if you referred someone this month, you could get a half hour massage for $12.50 or $30 for an hour-how cool is that?
With sincere wishes for your health and happiness,
