If you follow my musings, you may know that I believe I need to improve my life through better nutrition, meditation, yoga/stretching, mindfulness, positive thoughts and of course, massage. Although I am not always successful in these endeavors, I do keep trying to make these practices daily habits and really do feel better for it. Another practice that you see all over social media is gratitude, with good reason, it is a “feel good” habit.
Taking a moment or two, at least daily, to reflect on the good things in your life is great medicine for the stresses and upsets we encounter every day. My goodness, just watching the news for a few minutes can assault the senses on so many levels with loads of negative information to bring us down and leave us there…unless we go out and “buy something” to make us feel better. What a vicious circle!
So invest in yourself, in your good physical and mental health, in your peace of mind, take a moment and think about what’s good in your life. You really will feel better And oh yes, get a massage for heaven’s sake!
