During a recent health scare, (I’m fine), I took stock of what’s most important to me, really important, at this very moment. It’s quite an exercise, when you’re so busy to notice all the good stuff, how much you miss, life’s simple pleasures. Feeling the sunshine on your face or hearing your favorite song on the radio is great, right? Being grateful, living each moment, not taking a day for granted; it’s quite a rush!
So don’t wait for a “scare” to push you into being grateful for all that you have in you life, just do it. Keep you eyes, ears and heart open while you do everyday stuff, even laundry – it smells awesome when it’s clean. Dance a little, sing real loud, laugh from your belly and maybe my fav, have some good chocolate. You’ll have a better appreciation of all those little things that we all take for granted every day.
